Letter from Anna
Today I had ice cream for breakfast, because #mom says that now I can have anything I want. #Dad carried me out on the porch, and I felt the wind playing with my hair. Or... where my hair used to be. I have a pink hat now. I got it from my #bestfriend, Emma. She said I look like a #princess in it.
Little brother doesn't quite understand what's happening. He asked me if we can #play tomorrow. I said yes, but I don't know if I can. I'm getting #tired just breathing. But I don't want him to be sad.
I'm not #afraid of leaving. I think it's worse for mom and dad than for me. They say they love me all the time, hug me so hard that I can hardly breathe. I love them too. I hope they know that, even when I'm not here anymore.
In Norway, around 700 children are affected by #heart defects and #cancer every year. Some recover. Some, like me, don't give a damn.
